Chico Makes National News Again for Human Rights Violations
The Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at American University Washington College of Law is partnering with the ACLU and others to draw attention to the human and civil rights violations taking place in the US as well as review relevant law, and Chico is the city they have chosen as an exemplar of poor leadership and bad policy leading to these violations.
"...unhoused persons are experiencing violations to numerous fundamental human rights, e.g., the rights to personal security, health, property, and the right to be free from torture and other ill-treatment. These violations are the result of USG policies that create criminal penalties for life-sustaining activities and are designed to displace and remove unhoused persons from public visibility."

Please take a moment to check out Chico Voters. We cannot afford 3 more years of Coolidge and Morgan.
Find out how you can sign the petition to replace them.
Donate to support the effort.
Volunteer to gather signatures. Itโs as easy as printing out a petition and asking nearby neighbors and family to sign.
